Built with upgraded components and reinforced construction, these assemblies feature new EP-4 potted earphones for enhanced longevity and reliability. Kevlar-reinforced cables and improved strain reliefs significantly boost strength, reducing the risk of breakage during intensive use. Designed with user convenience in mind, the larger push-to-talk (PTT) housing offers better handling and increased protection through enhanced electronic encapsulation. The Hot Mic system now includes a supportive saddle for improved stability of the microphone and wiring, while the newly integrated PTT circuit safeguards the switch when used with pre-amplified surface stations. Finished with updated earphone holders featuring secure button snaps, this assembly ensures dependable communication performance in any situation.
