Scuba diving off the coast of Krk, Croatia offers clear Adriatic waters, diverse marine life, and a mix of rocky reefs, underwater walls, and small caverns suitable for all experience levels. Visibility is often excellent, typically ranging from 50 to 100 feet, allowing divers to fully enjoy the area’s rich sea flora, small schools of fish, and occasional octopus or seahorse sightings. Several nearby wrecks also provide engaging exploration opportunities. Water temperatures for our trip in August will range from 75–77°F.
A 5mm wetsuit is generally comfortable, though a 7mm is recommended for those who tend to chill easily. Bringing a hood and gloves is advisable, even if you may not end up needing them.
